PRP
A treatment using platelet-rich plasma from your own blood, with options and a treatment plan assessed according to your individual needs.
An individual plan using your own plasma
PRP uses a concentrated component of your own blood. If your aim is to address skin quality, we can assess whether the method is suitable for you and the area you would like treated.
Expectations are an important part of the consultation. Evidence for cosmetic skin results remains limited, and effects can vary. You receive a specific plan without promises of a particular rejuvenating effect.
Benefits of PRP
What happens during treatment?
We discuss your health, medication and wishes to assess whether PRP may be appropriate. A small blood sample is processed in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich component.
The plasma is applied in the agreed treatment area. We explain aftercare and agree when to assess the effect and whether further visits may be appropriate.
What can PRP do for you?
Your own plasma
The material is prepared from a sample of your blood.
Assessed for your needs
We consider whether the method suits your goals and health.
A focus on skin quality
We discuss the possibilities while recognising the limited evidence.
A specific plan
The area, number of visits and expectations are agreed before treatment.
Reviewing changes
Effects are assessed over time and may vary from person to person.
An overview of alternatives
You receive the information you need to decide whether PRP is relevant for you.
Which areas can we treat?
We look at the whole before looking at an individual area. Together, we work out what suits you.
PRP for the face
Platelet-rich plasma from your own blood is used in selected facial areas with skin texture as the goal. Evidence for cosmetic skin-quality effects remains limited, and your response is assessed individually.
PRP for the neck
For the neck, we assess whether PRP is appropriate for your skin quality. Plasma is used in the agreed area; treatment does not remove loose skin, and visible benefit remains uncertain.
Questions about the treatment
Learn about the options, process and important considerations.
What does PRP stand for?
PRP stands for platelet-rich plasma. It is prepared from a sample of your own blood.
Are its effects on the skin well established?
Evidence remains limited, and results are not predictable for everyone. We discuss the options, uncertainties and alternatives during your consultation.
Is the treatment risk-free because it uses my own blood?
No. Taking a blood sample and giving injections can cause pain, swelling, bruising and infection. Your health and medication may also affect suitability.
How many treatments will I need?
This is agreed individually. The first, second and third treatments in the price list refer to visits in a possible course; they do not mean that everyone needs three treatments.
When will I see a result, and how long will it last?
An initial skin change may appear after 28–42 days, but some people notice a difference only after several monthly treatments. Around 6–12 months of effect is a clinical estimate for people who respond to a complete course, not to a single treatment. Evidence is limited, and both visible benefit and duration remain uncertain.
