Can every type of filler be dissolved?
No. Hyaluronidase is used for hyaluronic acid filler. Other or permanent filler materials may need a different approach.
Can I get exactly my previous shape back?
This cannot be guaranteed. The result depends on the product, placement, tissue and how much material can be broken down.
What if I have pain or visual changes after filler?
This needs urgent assessment. For visual changes or other serious symptoms, seek urgent medical help and contact the treating clinic; do not wait for a routine appointment.
When will I see a result, and how long will it last?
The breakdown can usually be assessed after 1–2 days, although swelling may hide the early change. We assess whether repeat treatment is needed and allow at least two weeks for the area to settle before any new filler treatment. Broken-down filler does not return, so duration is not expressed in months.
