In selected cases, filler can reduce tear-trough hollowing and soften the transition between the eye area and cheek.
A softer transition under the eyes
Hollowing under the eyes can create shadows that make the area appear more pronounced. When loss of volume is the cause, filler may be an option for smoothing the transition to the cheek.
We examine the skin and tissues around the eyes carefully. Dark circles may also be caused by pigmentation, blood vessels or swelling, which filler does not necessarily address.

Does filler remove all dark circles?
No. It can affect shadows caused by hollowing, but not necessarily pigmentation, visible blood vessels or other causes of dark circles.
Can filler treat under-eye bags?
Not automatically. Swelling or pronounced bags can make filler unsuitable. The area needs an individual assessment.
What are the specific risks around the eyes?
Persistent swelling, unevenness and discolouration can occur. There are also rare serious risks, including impaired blood supply and visual damage.
When will I see a result, and how long will it last?
The change in volume is usually visible immediately; 0–1 days describes the first visible change. Swelling can affect the appearance, and the result is normally reviewed after 2–3 weeks. Effects typically last around 9–12 months, depending on the product, area and your response.
